I like this.

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.

I'm just catching up...

I am excited. Let me tell you why. Well first, because the love of God is amazing. I've been so encouraged... so touched by the amazing love of Christ lately in this last week. Here's part of 'Enough' by Chris Tomlin:

All of You is more than enough for all of me
For every thirst and every need
You satisfy me with Your love
And all I have in You is more than enough.

It's quite amazing to fully be ok with only the love of Christ... and not needing anything more than Him. God is so good!

Also, a friend of mine from back at home wrote something that has really resonated with me, but more than that, took the words right out of my heart. (Thanks Dave Hess) It's as follows:

"I can't imagine my life - whether flickering out or shining bright without the ebb and flow grace that is Jesus Christ"

Secondly, I have been catching up on all my photos --- organizing the thousands. Between losing 2 batches worth of ORGANIZED photos (1 recovered, 1 NOT), getting a new computer, getting two.... yes TWO new cameras, it's made it a bit tough. So basically, the following are/(will be) a few of my favorites (or the most meaningful... or with meaningful people). I will be updating as I go. Check back regularly :)

So - Enjoy!

Be blessed!

Meet Sir Winston

Meet my new buddy. He's a bit sick at the moment (stuffy nose) but I took him to the vet today and he got two shots (ouchie... mommy's so sorry) and he's got some antibiotics (of course he won't eat his food because it's mixed) so I may be resorting to the syringe method in the next day or two.

Some things about Winston:
  • His favorite place to sleep is in the front pocket of a piece of luggage I have stored underneath my staircase (Weirdo).
  • He meows more than any kitten I've ever heard... I guess I have a knack for choosing high maintenance animals?
  • He likes my toes
  • He really... I mean REALLY hates shots
  • He doesn't like to be crated. I have never been SO ready to get off the subway in all my life. I had about 10 angry Koreans moving to the other side of the train to get away from Winston. I look at it as a good way of therapy for me to get over the fact I hate people staring at me. Ha!

Early Riser

Today I woke up at 6:30 a.m. I haven't been up this early in I don't know how long. Kind of weird. But since I'm up, I cleaned my house and now decided to sit down for an update (much needed) since I've totally let my blog go the last few months.

It's mostly because I have not organized my pictures and haven't felt the need to.... therefore I think I can't blog? Hmmm... interesting logic, don't you think?

In all honesty, the REAL REASON why I haven't blogged a few different times this week is because I don't think I have anything nice to say! It's been a hard week! Really hard! (So beware... it's not my most positive post.... but here it is)

I need a break. And I tried to do it two times within the past two weeks and my parade has been rained on. Literally. That's the whole reason... the STUPID RAIN!!

I really do hate rain. I always have, and I despise living anywhere where it rains and is cloudy any more than like 30% of the time.

Anyways - I went to Jeju island a few weekends ago (the Hawaii of Korea) and while it was great to tour, I was less than impressed with my pasty pale skin at my arrival back into Seoul. Regardless, here are some pictures from the trip.

Steph's Here!! I'm so blessed to have her in my life and here none the less!! This was pre boarding the plane to Jeju (notice the happy faces)

The view outside our hotel. Pool - check. Water slides - check. Beach- check. POOL DRAINED? No pool and slides.... RAIN?! No beach....

But we made the best of it :)

All in all though, we had a good time. I just was REALLY looking forward to working on a MUCH needed tan. Here's the group shot:
