Drawing encouragement

I listened to a sermon by the always insightful John Piper on 1 Samuel 1:1-25 and have been able to draw some encouragement from this part of scripture as of late:

"If we died with him, we will also live with him;
If we endure, we will also reign with him.
If we disown him,
he will also disown us;
If we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself."

- 2 Timothy 2:11-13

I can't say that I have been to a point where my faith has diminished; however, It's literally the prayer of my heart that I would remain FAITHFUL to God's purpose for my life: to love people as He loves me.
